タイトルの「10,000hours」と見て、1万時間の法則を思い浮かべてしまいました。
何事にも1万時間かけるとプロフェッショナルになれるよ、と訴えかける歌のかなと思ったのですが、歌詞の意味は全然違いました。
1万時間でも、残りの人生をかけてでも君を愛してみせるよ、というラブソングでした。

っていい表現ですね。
I might never get there　＝　きっとその場所を手に入れることはできない　≒　無理だと思う

とてもロマンチックな歌詞だと思います。
また、難しい単語は一つもありませんでしたね。高校生までに習うような単語ばかりでしたが、このような歌、歌詞になることに感動しました。
